the accommodation surpassed our expectations with its clean and comfortable rooms, and the beautiful views of the lake were an added bonus. the owner, Manoj, truly made our stay special by taking care of our every need. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience, from helping us with bike rentals to engaging in enjoyable evening conversations. Our last night in Sri Lanka couldn't have been better, and Ella is truly a magical city that should not be missed. Cons: All good 😊.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with all the amenities I needed. The location was peaceful and scenic, surrounded by the beautiful Kinigama forest on the ridge road. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. They even offered transportation services, driving me to a restaurant when I couldn't find one and arranging tuk tuk rides when needed. The breakfast served on the balcony was a lovely touch, with delicious food and a fantastic view.
No negatives from this place.

Stayed at this hidden gem with a garden view. The free parking was a bonus, although finding a spot was like a maze. The restaurant served a continental breakfast that made me feel continental!
Who needs easy access to the main township when you can navigate a treacherous road? Such an exhilarating experience!

Fantastic accommodation, exceeded expectations. Great location, away from main street. Friendly and helpful family. Sunset hike with son was enjoyable. Scooter rental available. Spacious and clean room with good amenities. Excellent wifi and hot shower. Delicious evening meals. Highly recommend.
Nothing to be said.

We had a wonderful stay at a hotel nestled in the hills with a peaceful atmosphere. The room was tidy and had all the necessary amenities, including a hot shower. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, offering helpful advice on places to visit and even arranging transportation. The Sri Lankan breakfast prepared by the friendly owners was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the serene view of the forest from our balcony. The location, although a bit far from the center of town, was perfect for those seeking a more private and quiet experience.
The hotel's location was a bit far from the center of town, making it necessary to rely on tuk tuks or scooters for transportation.
